Well today is the Valentine’s day and I thought what we can what we can’t do while living in India..

The Things I Can do in India.

I can stand at the road side and eat very comfortable the Indian Fast food Like Chaat.

I can’t eat the Good sea food In North India. May be down there in Goa and South India you can find that but where I live… I guess at most of the places you can’t find the Good food.

Movies… I can’t find the good Movies with the English subtitles. So even if I like the famous SRK movies I have to download the subtitles from the internet and the movies go fast and the subtitles come later so I read some thing and the movies runs on a different scene. Sometimes the action is already gone but I read the dialogues later. so funny…

But I can find any movie for 10 Rupees.. Ha ha ha…

Wherever I go people just stare you like anything… they just keep staring at you and you really feel uncomfortable.

You can always find people taking about the weather, politics and cricket… Like they are the experts on that…

You have hell lot of crowd in the trains, buses and roads… so you don’t feel alone.

You always get the crying soap operas in the Hindi TV Channels and where the main person is the camera man who pauses the CAMERA FROM DIFFERENT POSITIONS to make the scene more dramatic.

You can find the Breaking News in every 5 minutes in Indian TV Channels. All the News are Breaking News. They repeat it so many times and you feel like it is a TV commercial.

One can find really good food In India… Punjabi..South Indian and specially India has lots of variety of sweets… I guess that’s why my Husband eats so many sweets.

Literally in all the Govt. Offices you can find bribery… It’s rampant in India.

Even if you have a good fashion dress you can really wear it and walk on the road and people will stare at you like anything .. They will eat you with their eyes.

I like the Indian Railway System of India. It’s cheap, economic and really goes every where in India. If you travel in the first class (Not like Europe) you will have good services. ( Not like Europe)

I hate when the Indian elderly people tells you to do this and that knowingly that a foreigner is not accustomed of doing that.

I hate when people come to your house without any notice. They just show up, not like in the western where people actually give you a call or notice before they actually show up.

Hahaha one thing I like… The Indians they keep their things wrapped . They buy a new car and don’t tear the seat cover polythene for months. Hahaha My husband wrapped the remote of the dish TV box. Hahaha… My mother in law… my sister in law… my Indian friends… every one keeps their NEW things all wrapped in their Polythene…even the seat cover of the Bike.

I have seen the Air ticket destination stickers on their luggage for months and months just to tell the people that they have flown… hahaha…

My list goes on…

India is strange but it’s wonderful… full of surprises…

Thanks for your comment Rohit. Yes, things change over time and you get accustomed to things that were previously annoying. I like to take things with a sense of humor. :)
