So as many of you already know…. India won the Cricket World Cup after 28 long years! It was a great match and even with the tension, we won.
I think the role of the captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was key in this match. Even at one point he seemed to be hurt, but his “6″ at the end of the match was just what the team needed to win. His swing was impressive by the way. Well, it’s also the first time I see him playing so my opinion is not so objective haha… but overall it was a team effort that brought happiness for all Indians here and abroad.
In between the match war, we even had a broken bat by Sri Lanka’s player Malinga! Gautam Gambhir also played well and almost reached the 100 points.
Again important people attended like the President of India – Pratibha Patil, the President of Sri Lanka – Mahinda Rajapaksa, Shashi Tharoor, Rahul Gandhi, Aamir Khan, Preity Zinta, Mukesh Ambani and his wife, actor Rajnikant and his magical powers, etc.
The end of the match was very emotional for all coz India waited for this moment so many years and finally they got the chance to win this world cup vs Sri Lanka. Everyone was just euphoric, in ecstasy.
This guy, Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, is always at every cricket match in India and shows the colours of the flag of India painted in his body. He is a super fan of Sachin Tendulkar who has honoured his word by giving him free tickets for the cricket matches in India. A true fan!
Happy Team! Well, after all they will receive 1 crore rupees each as a gift (almost a quarter million USD). Also check out the celebrations across the country.
Images really say more than words. The madness of India about cricket it’s undeniable and the happiness of winning joins this great nation. Congratulations India!

Oh..btw, Dhoni’s last ball shot Wasn’t the Helicopter shot, unfortunately n against popular belief. His bat went straight up from his stance position n stayed there until the feelin of victory sink in..it dint go in the swivel, as in the Helicopter shot
