The last few days I’ve been in bed and in pain. Why? because of my visit to the dentist. The problem started when my “wisdom tooth” decided to start growing and well, there was no space in my mouth for another tooth and it was causing me pain and swelling.
I had the same problem around 4 years back and the tooth was extracted smoothly back home. I didn’t feel anything during that operation and with the proper rest and cares of my dear mommy everything was alright. So I had that image in my mind that the operation wasn’t going to be that bad.
But here the things were totally different. When I went to the dentist for the operation he said that he will just put the anesthesia and everything should be fine (I believed him). But after 2 shots I was still having pain. It seems that there was an infection that he didn’t see before and so the anesthesia wasn’t working (oh my). After 7 shots of anesthesia I was just crying in pain but there was no way back. He had started to cut the bone and he had to finish it.
One hour later he finally said that he will start the stitching. Still I could feel the thread and needle. It was just horrible. The worst is that during the operation he wasn’t gentle at all. He manipulated my cheek and jaw so harsh that I was just dying there. Still now, 5 days later I still feel pain in my jaw.
This operation was just like those horror stories I use to listen from my aunts from procedures performed 20 years back. And I thought the medicine had improved. But I guess not so much in India yet.
I really don’t know how I survived all that. My wisdom was gone that day and as they call it in Spanish (la muela del juicio) it was really a pain. No need to say that I will stick with my family dentist back home from now on. I don’t wanna go to the dentist in India ever again.
I’ve just been in bed and barely eating but lucky to have my love to take care of me. Thank you sweetie

There are sm very good dentists here..World Renowned actually. I hope you nvr need one..bt incase, jz go to Dr. S.P. Aggarwal..one f the 2best dentists of India n widely popular in whole dentist world too.
Btw..the other dentist is Dr. Jaina..dunno his full name..bt both are superbly amazin..their whole dentist family

I really don’t know about the famous dentists here, but thanks for the tips. I hope I don’t need to go again. I’m much better now. The stitches will be removed soon
