The day when it all started…

It’s the first time I’m putting my feet on Indian soil. It’s a September night and my plane just landed in New Delhi. From the plane window I could see the lights of Delhi City, I am excited! I farewell my chatty plane friends going to other parts of India.

Who doesn’t like to have a good sleep? I do and I’m sure almost everyone does. In India, the extreme temperatures of the Indian summer and some daily life conditions make sleeping almost an odyssey.
Some problems during the summer are:
a. Modern night vampires = mosquitoes. Blood suckers that can get really annoying when hungry.
b. Scorching temperatures (40°C – 50°C) that will make wet your shirts, t-shirts and even your undergarments.
c. Gauranteed Power Cuts.
So over the time I have been collecting different gadgets that helped me to face these problems:

1. The grandma things… tannnn ta tee The Mosquito Net… Basic to have one of them in India! If you adjust it to your bed then it’s most likely that you will have a great sleep. (PS: Be sure there are no mosquitoes inside the net!) Read More…
