The Temple where your wishes turn into Bells…
My Journey to the Famous Temple was full of my excitment and surprise. During my visit to the Temple I met with the Man who has been carrying his mother on his shoulder for the last 14 years.
Then, when I reached the temple I saw it was in the middle of the thick woods. It was not visible from the road, but you could see the stairs and when I started to climb up the stairs I saw lots of bells hanging on the sides of the stairs. This mostly happens in all the temples in India. You normally find big or small bells in the temples, so I thought it’s Normal as I had been in many Temples in India before.
While I reached the temple (Pheeeeewww It had 20 steps which I could not climb easily as I could feel the cold air going inside me.. and I could feel it actually….. Pheeewww…) suddenly I felt the cold. It was really cold as the sunlight was not reaching there and secondly we had to put off the shoes to enter the temple.
It WAS COLD…Well my husband knew so he asked me to take a pair of another socks. So I walked with the socks and then we offered the Prayer there as per the customes.
My first surpise was that inside the temple I saw some hand written Letters…They were hanging here and there. And they were not simple letters They were actually Notarized papers (Notary paper issued by the Govt. of India) and people had written something on that in Hindi… which I obviously could not read, so I asked my hubby what was that and he explained me that People have given written request to the God for seeking fair Justice. So I was confused because I never saw anything like this in my life… so I curiously asked… and what happens when the Justice is given to them… he explained that when someone’s wish is completed he has to offer a Bell in the temple. So that’s why there were Lots of bells… all around the temple… Read More…
