Changing the TV Channels I stopped at Fashion TV. I just glued to it for 10 – 15 minutes and remembered my life moments when I was on the other side of the world. Everything was so different and it seems so unreal while you are living on this side of the world. Watching the designs of the Italian designers with tall and thin models. The French and Spanish beaches on the Fashion TV with semi clad women (of course the Indian TV channel doesn’t show the real Fashion TV here in India, they show only what is covered) reminded me the good old times. The meaning of fashion is restricted to clothes only rather than the style of living or dressing.

I was listening to a podcast by Isolated Internationals which I found through twitter. They are a group of professionals dedicated to help global citizens with all the different kind of obstacles that they might find when moving to another country and culture.

During the podcast they mentioned something that got stuck in my head: “The Illusion of complete integration” in a different culture or society.

There were certain points mentioned:

“Complete integration in another culture is very difficult if not impossible to achieve“.

“The end destination is coping with how we are going to live in this different place”.
